Resident in Gastrointestinal Surgery

  • Assisted and independently performed complex esophageal, gastric, colorectal, and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeries such as Whipple’s procedures, radical cholecystectomies, hepatectomies, pancreatectomies and excisions for chronic pancreatitis and NETs and liver resections for hilar cholangiocarcinomas. Trained in one of the highest volume centers in the world for surgery for pancreatic cancer and IBD. Assisted in preoperative preparation and work up of patients for living and deceased donor liver transplant.
  • Assisted and performed minimal access surgeries including hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, bariatric surgeries (Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, mini gastric bypass), colectomies and VATS. Competence in managing complex abdominal trauma and damage control surgeries
